Euphoria, the inter-branch fest at Lucknow Public School, Ansal Branch, brought together 10 branches in a vibrant celebration of talent and creativity. Rays of Joy : Diwali Festivities in School
Our school celebrated Diwali with a range of creative activities and competitions. In the *Inter-House Little Chefs Competition, students prepared festive treats, showcasing teamwork and culinary skills. The Inter-House Rangoli Competition added vibrant color, as each house crafted intricate designs symbolizing the spirit of Diwali. Students also enjoyed craft-making activities —creating diyas, kandeels, rockets, and bandhanwars using eco-friendly materials. These activities brought together creativity, tradition, and teamwork, filling our school with the festive joy of Diwali.
Festival of Lights : A Special Diwali Assembly
Our school organized a special assembly to celebrate the joyous festival of Diwali, bringing together students from all grades in a vibrant display of talent and tradition. The event began with a Dance performance by students from Pre-Nursery to class 5, where young dancers dressed in colorful attire lit up the stage with their graceful moves. Each step and smile reflected the joy of Diwali, captivating the audience and filling the atmosphere with festive cheer.
Students from classes 6 to 8 presented a soulful Diwali song, capturing the essence of the festival through melody and harmony. Their heartfelt singing conveyed the message of peace, prosperity, and unity, leaving everyone in the audience feeling uplifted and inspired.In the Pre-Primary classes, students participated in a Show and Tell activity, where they showcased Diwali-related items and shared stories and traditions behind each. From diyas to kandeels, they explained the significance of these symbols in their own words, connecting with Diwali’s meaning and spreading knowledge among their peers. It was a truly memorable event that brought the school together in the spirit of light and joy.
SHINING TOGETHER: Diwali Celebration with Drishti Foundation
On the occasion of Diwali, Lucknow Public School (C.P. Singh Foundation) distributed food items and educational materials to the children of Drishti Social Institute located in Jankipuram Extension. It is noteworthy that 268 differently-abled children reside at Drishti Social Institute. Every year, Lucknow Public School (C.P. Singh Foundation) extends its support by distributing essential items to underprivileged elderly people and children, advancing the path of social welfare. This Diwali, to ensure that the joy of the children at the institute remains undimmed, students of the school visited Drishti Social Institute, met with the children, and shared their happiness by providing them with food items, books, and educational supplies. The school students also participated in activities like making decorative lights and painting with the children. They pledged to continue their involvement in such social welfare initiatives in the future.
WORKSHOP ON BALANCED DIET
In our continued efforts to promote health and well-being among our students, our school organized an informative workshop on Balanced Diet in collaboration with Dr. Induja Dixit , a renowned nutritionist and dietitian, on 23.10.24. The session was aimed at educating students about the importance of a balanced diet in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Induja Dixit emphasized the role of essential nutrients such as carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals in supporting growth, cognitive development, and overall well-being. Students were encouraged to incorporate a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and proteins into their daily meals while reducing their intake of processed and junk food. The workshop also highlighted practical tips on creating healthy meal plans, the importance of hydration, and how to maintain portion control. The interactive session allowed students to ask questions and discuss their eating habits, helping them understand the long-term benefits of good nutrition. Through this workshop, students gained valuable insights into how a balanced diet can not only boost their energy and academic performance but also contribute to a healthier lifestyle. We thank Dr. Induja Dixit for her time and expertise, and we look forward to organizing more such initiatives in the future to ensure the holistic development of our students.
DUSSEHERA CELEBRATION
The vibrant spirit of Dussehra came alive at our school with a delightful and engaging celebration. Our talented pre-primary teachers presented a mesmerizing Raam Leela, bringing to life the epic scenes from the Ramayana. Their heartfelt performances captivated the young audience, who watched in awe as the timeless tale of good triumphing over evil unfolded before their eyes. Adding to the excitement, a colorful puppet show was also staged, making the storytelling even more magical and interactive. The handmade puppets, paired with lively narration, brought the Ramayan characters to life in a unique way that kept the little ones enthralled. The highlight of the celebration was the pre-primary students themselves, who arrived dressed as characters from the Ramayana for a fancy dress competition. With immense enthusiasm, they portrayed characters such as Lord Ram, Sita and Hanuman. The creativity and effort put into their costumes added to the festive atmosphere, making the event a memorable one for all.
This Dussehra celebration not only entertained but also instilled in our young learners the values of courage, truth, and righteousness, as depicted in the Ramayana.
CELEBRATION OF GANDHI JAYANTI
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, our school celebrated the values of truth, peace, and service through a series of meaningful activities. The pre-primary students enthusiastically participated by dressing up as Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, bringing to life the simplicity and leadership of these two great figures. Their attire symbolized the essence of self-discipline and patriotism that both leaders stood for. The primary students extended the celebration beyond the school premises, visiting nearby slum areas to distribute hygiene kits. This act of kindness aimed to promote cleanliness and health awareness, embodying Gandhiji's vision of cleanliness being next to godliness. CELEBRATION OF Swacchata Pakhwada
Our school celebrated Swachhata Pakhwada with a series of activities aimed at promoting cleanliness, health, and hygiene. The event began with a special assembly where students enthusiastically presented a song and dance performance, emphasizing the importance of maintaining cleanliness and contributing to a cleaner environment. A workshop on health and hygiene was conducted for the students, focusing on essential practices for staying healthy and the role cleanliness plays in everyday life. Additionally, a fun and interactive handwash activity was organized for the tiny tots, teaching them proper handwashing techniques to prevent the spread of germs.
In the junior wing, various engaging activities like softboard decoration, handbill making, kavita lekhan (poetry writing), and slogan writing were also held, fostering creativity and reinforcing the theme of cleanliness.
The entire celebration successfully raised awareness about the significance of hygiene and instilled lifelong habits in our young learners.
World Tourism Day CELEBRATION
On the occasion of World Tourism Day, our school organized a vibrant Fancy Dress event where students represented various countries from around the globe. The event aimed to foster global awareness and celebrate cultural diversity. Dressed in colorful costumes symbolizing countries like Japan, France, India, Brazil, and more, the students proudly displayed the flags of their chosen nations. Each student confidently took the stage, shared interesting facts about their country, and highlighted unique aspects such as famous landmarks, cultural traditions, or historical significance.
In addition, pre-primary students showcased their creativity through craft activities, such as sand pasting and making Chinese fans, adding a hands-on, artistic touch to the celebration.
REMEMBRANCE DAY COMMEMORATED IN THE LOVING MEMORY OF REVD. C.P. SIR
On 21st September, a special assembly was held in remembrance of our late Shri C.P. Singh, the esteemed founder manager. The program commenced with a touching group song, followed by heartfelt reflections from primary wing students who spoke about his inspiring qualities. A melodious tribute was presented by the music teacher, and the ceremony concluded with a solemn floral tribute from students and staff, honoring his legacy.

During Hindi Saptah, students from classes 1 to 5 engaged in a variety of enriching activities. **Shabd Shrankhla** and **Varno ki Rail** enhanced their vocabulary and letter sequencing skills, while **Sulekh** and **Shrutlekh** focused on improving handwriting and dictation. The students' creativity shone through in the **Hasya Kavi Sammelan**, where they recited humorous poems, and in the **Doha Vaachan**, where they presented traditional couplets. A highlight of the event was the skit **"Matrao ka Jhagda"**, a playful performance that showcased the importance of correct matra usage in Hindi. One more special event "Look-Alike" stood out as a fun and memorable activity. Students dressed up exactly like their favorite teachers, replicating their outfits and mannerisms with great attention to detail. The event filled the school with laughter and joy, as both teachers and students enjoyed the playful atmosphere. CLASS ACTIVITIES ON TEACHER'S DAY
Students from Pre-Primary to Class V celebrated Teachers' Day by engaging in creative activities to express their gratitude. The children made beautiful flower bouquets, handprint thank-you cards, and bunches of flowers. Pre-Primary students crafted vibrant handprint cards, while primary students showcased their artistic skills with handmade flower bouquets. The day was filled with joy and appreciation, as students and teachers shared smiles and celebrated the special bond they share.
NATIONAL SPORTS DAY CELEBRATION
On National Sports Day, our school held a special assembly and fun races for Classes 1 and 2. The day started with an assembly where the significance of the day was highlighted, followed by speeches and a display of sportsmanship.
After the assembly, students participated in a series of fun races, including the Turtle Race, Ball pickup and drop Race, Skipping Race, Hula Hoop , Relay Race etc. The races were filled with excitement and laughter, emphasizing teamwork, coordination, and physical activity.
The event was a great success, leaving the young students with happy memories and a stronger appreciation for sports and fitness.
Krishna's Magic: Janmashtami Joys with Pre-primary
Our pre-primary students celebrated Janmashtami with great joy and enthusiasm. The festivities began with a **zig-zag walk**, reflecting Lord Krishna’s playful nature. This fun activity helped the children develop their coordination and balance.
Next, the students engaged in a **butter churning activity**, where they learned how milk is churned to produce butter, cream, and buttermilk. The children were thrilled to see the transformation, connecting the process to the stories of Krishna’s love for butter.To add to the festive spirit, the little ones also crafted colorful **headgears** inspired by Lord Krishna’s crown.
The day was a perfect blend of fun, learning, and tradition, making it a memorable experience for our little ones.
Crafting Krishna’s World: Creative Activities for Janmashtami
During the Janmashtami celebration, our Primary students showcased their artistic talents through a series of engaging craft activities. They crafted colorful Krishna face masks, adorned paper flutes with beads and ribbons, and designed head gears and crowns inspired by Lord Krishna. Additionally, the students created beautiful and colourful peacock feathers and crafted peacocks with the help of icecream sticks capturing the essence of Krishna’s connection to nature and his divine playfulness. These activities not only celebrated the festival but also allowed students to express their creativity in honouring Lord Krishna.
Good Touch, Bad Touch Activity
To educate our young students about personal safety, a "Good Touch, Bad Touch" activity was conducted for Pre-Primary to Class 2 students. The session aimed to help children understand the difference between safe and unsafe touches in a simple and age-appropriate manner.
- Teacher used stories, puppets, and visual aids to explain the concept of good and bad touches. Children learned that a "good touch" is one that makes them feel comfortable and safe, like a hug from a parent, while a "bad touch" is one that makes them feel uncomfortable or scared. They were also taught the importance of saying "No," moving away, and telling a trusted adult if they ever experience a bad touch.
This initiative was an important step in teaching our youngest students about personal boundaries and safety in a caring and supportive environment.
Saluting the Nation:Independence Day Celebration
On India's Independence Day, the school organized a vibrant celebration on August 15, 2024, featuring cultural and artistic programs. The event began with the hoisting of the national flag and singing of the National Anthem, followed by performances including "Vande Mataram," a choir song, Qawwali, classical and regional dances, and a group elocution. Students also participated in a fancy dress event, dressing as freedom fighters, and performed an aerobics routine. The celebration fostered patriotism and unity, concluding with a collective commitment to the nation's future.

On August 10, 2024, the Ansal branch of Lucknow Public School hosted its inaugural Investiture Ceremony, marking the official induction of the newly appointed house bearers for the academic year 2024-25. **National Librarian's Day** was celebrated with great enthusiasm at our school library this year. Students from classes 3 to 5 participated in a fun activity where they dressed up as their favorite book characters. The library was filled with little Harry Potters, Hermiones, and Red Riding Hoods, bringing their beloved stories to life.Older students from classes 6 to 9 faced a more challenging task. They were divided into groups and given the opportunity to create their own books, book brochures, and newspapers. To commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas, an Inter-House Softboard Decoration Competition was held in the Junior Wing. To commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas and introduce our youngest learners to the significance of this important day, we organized a Tri-Colour Salad Making activity for our pre-nursery students. This engaging and educational event combined patriotism with healthy eating in a fun, hands-on experience.
Each child received a tray of pre-cut vegetables representing the three colors of the Indian flag: carrots (saffron), cucumbers and radishes (white).
Under the guidance of their teachers, the children arranged the vegetables on their plates in a tricolour pattern. This activity not only helped them learn about the significance of the day but also encouraged them to appreciate the importance of healthy eating.

Today students of nursery class had a fun activity to learn about how domestic animals help us!
They guessed animal names from pictures and listened to their sounds, like cows saying "moo" and chickens going "cluck."
They also enjoyed a story about farm animals, learning that dogs keep us safe, cats are great friends, cows give us milk, and chickens lay eggs.

The Pre-Nursery class Monsoon Day celebration was a delightful event filled with laughter and joy. Dressed in blue colour, the children enjoyed a fun dancing gleefully. Founder's Day is a cherished tradition at Lucknow Public School, where we come together to honour the visionary founder who established our beloved institution. Guided by their teachers, the children learned how to prepare these simple yet delicious snacks. The process included washing ingredients, mixing them, and serving the prepared snacks.
