Learning by doing is also known as experiential learning and hands on learning. It is a form of learning from one’s own actions and experiences, so when kids learn by doing things themselves, they recognize them longer than just memorizing them, moving forward on this type of learning, Lucknow Public School, Ansal organizes an activity for the tiny tots on every Saturday to make them learn new things through fun activities. The following activities which were organized were Puddle jump- from number to number ,Guess what’s in the box, Counting fun- with corns. Through all these activities, children were able to practice their dexterity and gross motor skills to analyze the figures and were able to enhance their memory and concentration power.

In order for the compliance of CBSE instructions, Swachhata Pakhwada was organized from 11th Sep to 15th Sep 2023 to inculcate good and clean habits. The teachers and students wholeheartedly participated to make the mission successful and extended the fortnight with erudite activities like Prabhat Pheri, Swachhata Shapath, Distribution of paper envelopes to local vendors, distribution of Hygiene kit in Cheshire home etc.
1949 में संविधान सभा द्वारा हिंदी को आधिकारिक भाषा के रूप में अपनाने के उपलक्ष्य में हर साल 14 सितंबर को हिंदी दिवस समारोह मनाया जाता है। लखनऊ पब्लिक स्कूल, अंसल ने छात्रों को हिंदी भाषा के महत्व से परिचित कराने के लिए 06 सितंबर से 14 सितंबर तक हिंदी पखवाड़ा मनाया। विद्यालय में कई मनोरंजक गतिविधियों के साथ एक विशेष सभा का आयोजन करके इसे मनाया गया। इस सप्ताह की कुछ प्रमुख गतिविधियाँ थी हिंदी कविता पाठ, कबीर दास के दोहे, रहीम के दोहे, तुलसी दास के दोहे का पाठ, हास्य रस कविता वाचन प्रतियोगिता ,गीत गायन, नृत्य, हिंदी में सामान्य ज्ञान प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता, लघु नाटिका, चित्र लेखन, कहानी लेखन, आओ बनाये शब्द श्रृंखला मात्राओं का ज्ञान, हिंदी गिनती ज्ञान , मुहावरा बूझो आदि। 14 सितंबर को हिंदी दिवस का समापन भी किया गया जिसके अंतर्गत विभिन्न क्रियाकलापों का पुरस्कार वितरण भी किया गया ।
Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna, the eight reincarnation of Lord Vishnu – the Protector. The tiny tots of Lucknow Public School, Ansal celebrated Krishna Janmashtami with full enthusiasm, fervour and devotion that one can associate with this divine festival.The pre primary wing touched the right chord in spreading solemn love and righteousness in such morbid times. Students of class 3 to 5 also presented a short skit depicting the quality of friendship of Shri Krishna and Sudama.
Teacher’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at LPS, ANSAL. A fun-filled cultural programme was arranged by the students consisting of a medley of all songs and a variety of dances. A skit on the teacher’s relationship with students were some of the presentations.
The Head mistress addressed the staff and students and expressed her views about the importance of teachers in the lives of students and the crucial role they play.
The Love between a brother and a sister is one of the deepest and noblest of human emotions. “ A special assembly was held on August 28, 2023, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The assembly commenced with invoking the blessings of God. Many programs were lined up to emphasize strengthening the bonds not only between siblings but also among the citizens of society as a whole. A special skit bound everyone with joyous love on this auspicious day. There were various cultural programs in which students presented their self-made Rakhi's thali decoration, card making, envelope making, and many more to showcase their innate talents. The day underlined the notion that everybody should live in harmony and hence presented India's rich culture and traditions.

The 77th Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August,23 at Lucknow Public School, Anal Branch, with great pomp and grandeur. The auspicious occasion commenced with the flag-hoisting ceremony. The stage was decorated for the cultural programmes. The little kids dressed up as soldiers, doctors, policemen, etc. to express their love for the nation and enthralled everyone. The students gave extravagant performances and won everyone's hearts. The Headmistress ma’am addressed the students with inspiring words.
The Ansal branch of Lucknow Public School, resonated with a sense of pride and anticipation as the school community gathered for the much-awaited First Investiture Ceremony. This auspicious event, held on 11th August 2023 , marked the official induction of the newly appointed house bearers for the first academic year 2023-24. The event symbolised not just the conferring of badges but the entrustment of responsibilities upon young shoulders. Each house bearer was carefully selected, embodying the qualities of leadership, responsibility, and dedication that LPS, Ansal holds dear. Our Head mistress ma’am, in her address, lauded the students' achievements and encouraged them to carry out their duties with utmost sincerity. She stressed the significance of teamwork and urged the house bearers to lead by example, demonstrating qualities that others could emulate.
With the blessings of the management team and teachers, the house bearers are poised to create a positive impact and set an example for their peers.

Undoubtedly, the fact and figure about India have always been a matter of research and inspiration globally. To take a short glimpse on the same and to make the students aware about its Lucknow Public School organized a quiz –Quest Enigma on 10/08/23 to provide a platform to the students to explore a nation which is a land of spiritually and have a glorified history. Seven branches of LPS participated in the competition in preliminary round (phase -I), in which four were selected for the Phase –II round and the results were-Ahiyaraipur Raibareilly stood First, LPS –Sector I grab the second position, LPS Unnao stood Third and consolation to LPS Sector D. The Quiz completion was a great success and definitely it will have encouraged students to participate in more such competition in future.
Badminton is a much-admired sport which requires strength, endurance, as well as mental capabilities leading to self-discipline and healthy lifestyle. To provide an opportunity to the students to showcase their skills & inculcate into them spirit of sportsmanship, Lucknow Public School organized an Inter-Branch Badminton Championship on 29th & 30th July at Shri C.P Singh Memorial Auditorium. The entire LPS family consisting of nine branches participated enthusiastically for the primary, junior & senior category. The match began with a lot of enthusiasm displayed not only by the players but also by the spectators. The result of tournament is as follows:
LPS, Sec I branch bagged winners title followed by LPS, South City & LPS, Sec D branch in the Junior Category for Boys. While on the other hand, LPS, Sec D branch emerged as a winner followed by LPS, Jankipuram and LPS, Sec I in the Junior Category for Girls. LPS, Raebareli won the match followed by LPS, South City & LPS, Sec D in the Senior Category for Boys. However, LPS, Raebareli retained the first position again for the Senior Category for Girls followed by LPS, Eldeco & LPS, Jankipuram respectively. The certificates were presented to all the winners & the tournament was quite a learning experience for all the participating teams. The fun-filled day was a true treat to the eyes of all Badminton fans present there.
To commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas, a special assembly was held at Lucknow Public School on July 26, 2023. The day began with offering prayer to God, followed by various performances. Anugya of Class VII gave a speech that provoked patriotic feelings and enlightened everyone’s mind. Little toddlers dressed up showcasing our National Symbols and grabbed the eyeballs. A spectacular dance performance was presented by the students of the Junior Wing and left everyone spellbound and filled the atmosphere with patriotism . The Principal applauded the efforts of the students and motivated them to display intense commitment, sincere love, and patriotism towards our nation.
On 24th of July ,Lucknow Public School , Ansal celebrated "Green Day" in an instructive way where children learnt about importance and recognition of green colour and the positive effects it has on our lives. The learners and the teachers came dressed in different shades of green. To reinforce the concept of colour green children were engaged in various activities like scenery making through natural leaves and petals, game like sorting of green balls , In and Out through hula hoops, exhibition of green colour vegetables and fruits. The highlights of this celebration were the little commentators and the performers who stepped forward with zeal and confidence and performed various programmes like- Green world tour , Dance, Poem Recitation. It was indeed a fun filled learning day for our little ones, children were able to recognise , understand the importance of colour green.
Van Mahotsav is also known as " Festival of trees and the festival of life". We, Lucknow Public School celebrated Van Mahotsav week (10th July -15th July). Our students participated in different activities throughout the week. The students were made to understand and appreciate the role played by planting trees in preventing global warming, reducing pollution and promoting rain fall. The students from class V to VIII performed a beautiful group song....

The song was actually a message to the humanity that " Trees are a life for us all."

‘Trees are the kindest things we grow’. This has been rightly said as the needs of all the living beings are fulfilled by them, but their depleting number has become a serious issue. To make students aware of this issue and taking initiative towards it, students and teachers of Lucknow Public School, Ansal had organized an assembly based on the theme- ‘Van Mahotsav’. The assembly was started with a short talk by the teachers of giving a brief description about the theme and importance of trees in our life. ‘Prayer’ was enchanted by all the despites. Thought for the day was an eye opener followed by the plantation of a sapling by our teachers. The Assembly came to an end with the beautiful poems based on trees recite by our teachers words who encouraged all the students to take good care of our true friends ‘Trees’.

15.7.2023 i.e. Saturday was celebrated in Lucknow Public School, Ansal Branch, where students of class III and IV showcased their talent through a platform of ‘Show and Tell’ event. They actively participated with all enthusiasm and zeal, in which they took the get up of different trees and spoke about the medicinal value that are found and used for. It was a successful event which boosted confidence along with a courage.
Forests provide us with oxygen, shelter, jobs, water, nourishment, and fuel. To create awareness for the conservation of forests and the planting of new trees, we celebrated Van Mahotsav Week. The students of Lucknow Public School, Ansal performed a Dance Drama to share the importance of forests for animals and birds. The students from classes 3 to 6 tried to put forward the problems, through dance drama performance, faced by the creatures living in the forests due to their exploitation day by day.
A Tree Plantation Drive was organised at Lucknow Public School, Ansal to educate our tiny-tots about the importance of conservation of nature.
The Tree Plantation drive also helps to enhance their intellectual, social, personal and emotional growth and make them climate-conscious global citizens. The tiny-tots brought various saplings including Ashoka, Neem, Belpatra, Tulsi, Herb plants, Fruit plants, etc. and helped each other plant the saplings on the school ground.
Greetings, dear readers! As the Van Mahotsav week unfurled its vibrant colors, our school embarked on a remarkable journey to celebrate the spirit of nature and environmental conservation. From 10th July to 15th July our students ventured out to make a difference and contribute positively to the world around them.
Plantation Drive: The hallmark of Van Mahotsav is tree planting, and our students took this responsibility to heart. Armed with saplings and gardening tools, they visited nearby areas that needed green cover the most. With guidance from local environmentalists and community members, our young green warriors planted a diverse range of trees, understanding the importance of each species in the ecosystem.
Awareness Campaigns: To spread the message of environmental conservation far and wide, our students organized awareness campaigns in the nearby neighborhoods. The aim was not only to educate the community but also to inspire them to join hands in protecting our environment.

Keeping the spirit alive Lucknow Public School, Ansal Branch, observed its first International Yoga Day on June 21, 2023, with full spirit and joy. The theme for International Yoga Day was" Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam". The school organized a plethora of activities for students, ranging from asanas and pranayama to Suryanamaskar, followed by Omkar chanting. The main attraction of the day was the performance of Suryanamaskar, in which coordination of the body and mind is very important. The day came to a conclusion with the recitation of the Shanti mantra.

LPS celebrated its founder’s 67th Birth Anniversary on 15th May, 2023 with great devotion and zeal. The event commenced with the lightening of lamp by our Director Ma'am, followed by floral tribute to the pious soul. The teachers exhibited their deep regards through melodious group song depicting his divine ideals. Thereafter, the enthusiastic students highlighted the significance of discipline, values, regularity and honesty through a wonderful action song.The graceful occasion came to an end with the motivational speech by the Director, Rashmi Pathak to the staff and the students.
*National Technology Day* is celebrated on 11th May every year.
In today's world, we all are looking way to ease our life through technology. From waking up in the morning till we sleep, in some way or the other, we need technology. So to proclaim this thought the students conveyed a message " never over do with technology " by performing a Nukkad Natak. Technology have become an integral part of our lives so to keep this notion in our heart a rhyme recital was there. An awestruck speech was also delivered on how life and business would come to a halt without technology- It's benefit to society. Handle cautiously!

Bond of a mother and her child is inexplicable. To honour the same bond of affection and love, the LUCKNOW PUBLIC SCHOOL,ANSAL celebrated the occasion with lot of emotions and merriment. Our blossoming buds expressed their gratitude and infinite love for their mother by gifting them a blissful moment through their heartwarming performances. Munchkins of class II sang an heart touching Poem-I Love My Mumma, a mesmerizing song was presented by our school choir and last but not the least a dewy-eyed dance performance by the students of classes III-VI on the songs like Meri Maa, pyari Maa, Mumma and Meri pyari Ammi jo hai on this special day.The results were announced on this happening day and the celebration ended up with a prize distribution ceremony, presided by our Director ma'am with some motivating words empowering Motherhood. The mothers were honoured and appreciated for their earnest efforts.
Sports play a pivotal role in the makeup of a young player. The primary aim for this intra indoor sports activities is to create a connection between children and sports. Activities like chess, carrom and table tennis were organised to inculcate the feeling of sportsmanship among the children to enhance the physical and social skills students participated wholeheartedly to show case their talent.
A day observed on May 8 celebrates the unique contribution of volunteers to ensure basic amenities to all who needs it!
To mark the WORLD RED CROSS DAY, the students delivered speeches, a special session was conducted- How to prepare a first aid box? And its importance was being the part of the Special Assembly. Activities like Poster Making, Slogan Writing, Speech Writing competition were held to create awareness about oneness.
Labour's Day also called May Day. It is observed every year on May 1st. A day to celebrate the achievements of workers. The major goal is to acknowledge the immense hard work put in by our group D members. These workers wear honoured by a thank you card and a token of admiration. A fancy dress program was organised to make our menials feel that they are important.
Earth day is widely recognised as the largest secular observance in the world, marked by more than a billion people. So to fight for a clean environment there was a special assembly for awearing our students regarding the increasing urgency to save our earth from the ravages of the climatic change. An enriching session was also conducted by a notable teacher to refrain the conservation actions for a prosperous green sustainability. Paper Bag making activity for the Pre-primary was an initiative to honor Earth Day.
World Health Day was celebrated in the school wherein students were sensitized to remain healthy by eating nutritious food, fruits and vegetables. They were made aware about the importance of physical exercises like Yoga, Zumba, Dancing & Aerobics to remain active and fit.Activities such as fancy dress, Tug of war between Healthy and Junk food, Session on Art of Eating, Eating Etiqquetes etc were organised to make the day impactful.
World Water Day is an annual event commemorated on March 22 to raise awareness of Fresh Water’s significance and promote Sustainable Water Management. LPS celebrated World Water Day and organised it by conducting Special Assembly and various activities to help students understand the importance of water.
A day to raise awareness about the cultural heritage and to celebrate the diversity. A special message giving assembly was conducted were it was conveyed- Ways to preserve the human heritage! Nukkad natak was enacted by the teachers showing the rich cultural heritage monuments of the City of Nawabs. An excursion trip to Residency also organised to create a deeper impact of respect towards monuments.
The school readiness programme was conducted for the Tiny-tots of Pre- Primary section .It is a Parenting Programme design to promote Pre school children's School readiness.The main objective of this programme is to improve Children's School readiness by enhancing their social skills.
To prepare children who come from the protected shelter and warmth of the Parent’s lap to get fit into the new environment.
The first day of school is memorable and exciting for every child. Children are quite nervous about going to school and meeting new people. Teachers at LPS left no stone unturned for making it Encouraging, Enthusiastic and Eventful for each and every child. A tour is helpful during the first day. First, it helps to break-up the day with a little movement. It is quite beneficial for students to might be a bit anxious about school. The day started with a special assembly conducted by our teachers to welcome the children to a place of wonderland. They were welcomed by beautiful badges to make this day a memorable one.
With the goal to create student’s familiarity with the institution’s regulation and academic standards an Orientation Programme was organised on 19th March. It helped school to partner with the parents who along with the teachers and student’s are important stake holders in the pursuit of imparting holistic learning to help our students become global citizens.
Augmentation day was organised and turned to be an exuberant moment among the students of grade VI to VIII on March 4, 2023. It was a fusion of talent, imagination, creativity, and alertness. The students participated in activities like Warli art, Zumba, and Gymnastics. Spontaneity and confidence were the hallmarks of the activities.
Eid-ul-Fitr is a festival of prayers, joy, happiness, and brotherhood. Our Tiny-tots celebrated the Eid festival by showing an informative presentation in which children explained the meaning, purpose, and importance of Ramzan. The teacher explained how Eid comes as a reward for those who have remained pure and noble at heart during the holy month of Ramadan and followed the path of God. The celebration was continued through an activity with great fervor and excitement. All students were dressed in traditional attire.

Red colour day was celebrated on 6th May. Children were augustly dressed in their red attire. Many activities were conducted - Sorting, Colouring, Tearing, Pasting for an extended learning process which enhances their knowledge. The best dressed Kings and Queens were felicitated.

Taking our little ones to the swings and slides was a great outdoor activity that got them rejuvenated with a stroke of laughter and happiness. It was a fun-filled day that made them energised, a great way to encourage our tiny-tots.
